Description
Tucked away in the hills of Hardwick, Vermont sits Snug Valley Farm. Three generations of the Notterman family raise cattle, pigs and a small flock of Coopworth sheep they inherited from a friend there. The verdant, well-managed land speaks to the experience and expertise of the enterprising Nottermans. The Coopworth flock is overwhelmingly naturally gray, so our yarn base is a solid steely gray. Overdyed colors boast rich, saturated tones impossible to achieve with white base yarn.
Snug Valley Coopworth 3ply Fingering from Bobolink Yarns is a smooth, semi-worsted yarn with a fine, crisp handle. Great for outerwear, mittens and scarves, this yarn will please knitters looking for drapeyness and wear.
Deep purple is a rich purple color with undertones of natural gray. Standard skeins contain 220 yards in 50g
