This yarn is made from Texel wool, from sheep raised in Addison County, Vermont. Texel sheep have a medium length fleece with bouncy structure and texture. It creates a very white yarn with a nice sheen and is offered here as a 2-ply Aran weight with 200 yds in each 100g skein. Perfect for heavy-wear garments such as sweaters, mittens, and other outerwear.
