This yarn is made from BFL (Bluefaced Leicester) wool, from sheep raised in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont (affectionately known as the NEK). Soft, strong and silky, it makes a gorgeous lustrous yarn, offered here as a 2-ply DK weight with 245 yds per 100g skein. This yarn can be sued for many types of projects but will drape beautifully, so is perfect for garments and is soft enough to be worn next to the skin for most people.
